The bottom section of the fly jib can be used as a 5.4 metres long erecting jib by installing a set of pulleys available as an optional extra. Another option is hydraulic luffing of the fly jib between 0 and 45 degrees, if necessary at full load. The folding fly jib can be attached at an angle of 0, 22.5 or 45 degree. The LTM1150-6.1 then can reach heights up to 93 metres, and working radii of up to 70 metres. A 7 metres long lattice boom extension provides a raised pivot point for the 12.2 to 22 metres folding fly jib, which can be lengthened to 36 metres by installing two 7 metres intermediate sections. The 62 metres telescopic boom comprises the pivot section and five telescoping sections extended and retracted by the TELEMATIK telescoping system. The new-generation Liebherr engine has an output of 370 kW (503 HP) at 1,900 min-1, and a maximum torque of 2,340 Nm between 1,200 and 1,500 min-1. The LR 1350/1 with a derrick boom and suspended ballast or a ballast trailer has a significantly higher load. The 160 tonnes mobile crane is driven by a Liebherr’s turbocharged six-cylinder inline engine with a data bus control system. The LR 1350/1 crawler crane features the very latest drive and control technology, lightweight, boom Systems with a high load capacity which are designed for easy transport and a low cost set-up and transport logistics system. The mobile crane comes with six steering programs. All five axles are steerable, therefore none is required to be raised for diagonal travel. The chassis of LTM1160-5.1 is 12.3 metres long, which in turn has a turning radius of 10.6 metres and the crane is equipped with Liebherr’s active rear-axle steering.
